Real Justice

We’re building local teams to get ready to change the justice system from the inside out. You don’t have to be an activist or an organizer. We’re looking for people who are bothered by injustice, bothered by police brutality, bothered by mass incarceration, and want to see these things change in their lifetime.

The United States has 2,400 elected prosecutors.

They are the gatekeepers of our justice system. Most cities and counties call them the District Attorney – or DA for short. We exist to place progressive, reform-minded women and men who want to end mass incarceration in each of these 2,400 positions.

They are 95% white, 81% male, and overwhelmingly conservative. Less than 1% of nation's prosecutors are women of color.

They don't look, feel, or think like a true representation of this nation.

87% of them ran completely unopposed in the last election cycle. We can change that.

To do that, we must build local teams of everyday people, just like yourself, to get ready to change the justice system from the inside out. You don't have to be an activist or an organizer. If you are, that's great, but we're just looking for people who are bothered by injustice, bothered by police brutality, bothered by mass incarceration, and want to see these things change in their lifetime.

Together, we can make it happen.
